The Kimura Lock – 5 Techniques by Gracie Barra Instructors
The “Kimura” lock (named after the Japanese judo great Masahiko Kimura) just might be the most versatile of all of the submissions. You may attack from nearly every ground position and transition between positions using the Kimura grip to maintain control of the opponent.
The Kimura attacks the shoulder joint and is a key technique in kimono, No-gi and MMA jiu-jitsu.
