1 – Prof. Marcio X-guard pt. 1
This is the classic and most effective X-guard sweep. Prof. Marcio transitions to the X-guard when his opponent posts a leg to stop his Butterfly hook sweep. Note the details on how Prof. Marcio stands up to complete the sweep and come to the top.
2 – Prof. Marcio X-GUARD pt. 2
In the follow-up video, Prof. Marcio shows a variation for when the opponent wants to pass standing. Check out how Prof. Marcio alternates between the Single Leg-X and X-guard.
3 – Lapel Guard
The modern-day competition involves strategies like the Lapel Guard where strategic grips are a powerful control and can force our opponents into making mistakes.
