Video Class – Transitioning From Back Control to Armlock

“A true champion can adapt to anything.”

Imagine that you took the back of your opponent, lets say you even scored 4 points for putting the hooks inn. It’s now time to aim for a submission! The most common submission in that scenario is the choke. But lets say things do not go as expected and you are faced with a strong neck defense. What to do?

We would like to invite you to explore a different submission option when controlling your opponent’s back: the armbar. On today’s GB Video Class Professor Jackson Alves will teach you how to transition from the back to the armlock. Keep in mind that a good Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu artist is creative and capable of adapting to different scenarios. Good practice, osss!
