The earliest influences of Master Carlos Gracie Jr. were his family – including his father, Great Grand Master Carlos Gracie Sr., his uncle Great Grand Master Helio Gracie, and his brother, Rolls Gracie. Each of these men contributed to Master Carlos Gracie Jr.’s love for Jiu-Jitsu, his technical skill development, and the philosophies that would propel him forward to be an advocate for the benefits of Jiu-Jitsu to students around the world.
