GB Technique:  Passing Different Guard Styles

This week on GB Technique we are going to look at some different guard pass strategies by some of Gracie Barra’s most experienced instructors
As a guard passer, you will be confronted with many different guard styles and different situations to problem solve. Some guards require specific passing techniques and at the same time, certain passing principles underlay all of our different passes.

Closed guard pass
This is the first guard most new students struggle to open and pass. Prof. Marcio Feitosa shows us how.
Knee cut / Knee slice pass
