GB Competitors Set to Continue Winning Ways at the Rio Open
The GB Team Led by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. Will Represent the Red Shield at the Rio Open
The GB Team led by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. will represent the red shield at the next competition. The next competition will be at the Rio Open 2013 Team Championship, which takes place July 25th-28th in Rio de Janeiro.
“The best part of victory is the process. Training is the best and also the worst. Many times the body can become tired, and the pain that comes with it can tempt someone to stop. There are workouts that each of these warriors reach that exceed their limits. But during this process is where everyone gives their best, not by an individualistic spirit, but by the collective, by a team who truly become champions during their climb to the top. This is the greatest of victories, this team spirit is what unites us and makes us stronger in the face of setbacks. Bring on the Rio Open, because our warriors are ready for war. OSS!” –Gracie Barra Headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
We are proud of the results of our warriors who defended the red shield and brought home first place at the European No- Gi, and the Rome, Lisbon, and Southern Brazilian Open. The Gracie Barra Family recognizes the value of each team member. Win or lose, we are proud of you.
