Gracie Barra is getting stronger and stronger in many different regions nation and worldwide with our regional leaders doing an outstanding job promoting Master Carlos Gracie Jr.’s vision of building one strong GB School in each city of the world. This scenario demands of course a huge effort from Gracie Barra to provide local support to all of our people. With that in mind, GB is hosting through the efforts of Professors Flavio Almeida and Dave Weber, the Expedition Jiu-Jitsu For Everyone® in Illinois from August 29th to 31st.

Each day will address specific areas related to the most common challenges presented by local students, athletes, instructors and school owners. Our goal is to provide effective support for quality growth of Gracie Barra in the Midwest. The event will provide cutting edge training and information on high level Jiu-Jitsu instruction, school growth and management, as well as update all team members regarding plans and strategies for the upcoming quarter.

Gracie Barra wants to spend quality time with its people in Illinois discussing the challenges and lessons learned growing Gracie Barra and Jiu-Jitsu on each community we operate. There is a lot to be learned from each one of our instructors, school owners and staff. On our end, GB is looking for the opportunity to share on a face to face meeting the so many recent developments of our teaching methods.

We want to make sure anyone who joins leaves the conference with a feeling of time well spent looking forward to getting back to their schools excited to teach and promote Jiu Jitsu in the community. The Regional Conferences are a very important step in consolidating this mutually supportive relationship with local leaders. The Schools are already doing an outstanding job. We believe face to face meetings with our people will allow great learning and exchange of information so we can continue to develop the organization to accomplish its vision.
