Gracie Barra Regional Conferences looking to improve the quality of Jiu Jitsu World Wide
Gracie Barra is getting stronger and stronger in many different regions nation and worldwide with our regional leaders doing an outstanding job promoting Master Carlos Gracie Jr.’s vision of building one school in each city of the world.
This scenario demands of course a huge effort from Gracie Barra to provide local support to all of our people. With that in mind, GB Association is hosting 7 Regional Conferences throughout 2012 in 7 different areas in North America.
Each conference will address specific issues related to the most common challenges presented by local schools. Our goal is to provide effective support for quality growth of GB in all regions.
The event will provide cutting edge training and information on martial arts instruction school management, sales and marketing, as well as update all team members regarding Gracie Barra’s Plan and Strategy for 2012.
Gracie Barra wants to spend quality time with its people in all regions discussing the challenges and lessons learned growing GB BJJ on each community we operate. There is a lot to be learned from each one of our instructors, school owners and staff. On our end, GB Association is looking for the opportunity to share on a face to face meeting the so many recent developments of our teaching methods.
We have a team of people working to make sure we get the most out of each event. We want to make sure anyone who joins leaves the conference with a feeling of time well spent looking forward to getting back to their schools excited to teach and promote Jiu Jitsu in the community.
GB Association will send some if it’s most qualified people to run the discussions like Professor Marcio Feitosa, Professor Marco Joca, Professor Flavio Almeida, and even Master Carlos Gracie Jr. is scheduled to attend a few events.
Each event will last approximately 3.5 hours. Our long term and ultimate goal is to have schools in each city in the world promoting Jiu-Jitsu for everyone for the community. This will only be accomplishment if Gracie Barra is able to develop local leadership through a strong relationship of mutual support. The Regional Conferences are a very important step in consolidating this mutual supportive relationship with local leaders.
The regions are already doing an outstanding job. We believe face to face meetings with our people will allow great learning and exchange of information so we can continue to develop the organization to accomplish its vision.
