Meet our experienced instructors who are committed to helping you succeed in Jiu-Jitsu.

Professor Fernando Amadeu is the founder of Gracie Barra Columbus. Born in 1989 in Brasília, Brazil, he moved to the United States in 2017. He eventually became the head instructor at Gracie Barra Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2024, he relocated to Dublin, Ohio, with his family to open the first Gracie Barra school in the state.

Professor Amadeu is dedicated to providing high-level Jiu-Jitsu instruction with experience and professionalism in a welcoming environment for the local community. He graduated with a degree in engineering from the University of Brasília before moving to the U.S. Additionally, he is a highly accomplished competitor. Here are his major achievements:

Professor Cauê began his jiu-jitsu journey in 2007 at the age of 14, quickly embracing the sport as both a passion and a lifestyle. Over the years, he developed as a competitor and a mentor, starting to teach in 2011 and earning his black belt in 2016. In 2014, he dedicated himself entirely to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a career. He later moved to the United States to pursue greater recognition and provide a better quality of life for his family.

He has also made significant contributions on the mats, serving as a jiu-jitsu instructor for Brazil's Federal Highway Patrol – Special Operations Command and the Rapid Response Group, where he assisted in training and preparing these elite teams.

Today, Professor Cauê continues to excel as both an athlete and instructor, holding numerous prestigious titles, including:
