Prof Carlos Lemos Junior, commonly known as “Escorrega”, is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Master Carlos Gracie Junior. Lemos is a former World Champion (1999 purple, 2002 black) who became one of the Gracie Barra‘s “missionaries” in Europe at the turn of the century, having opened several of the team’s franchises in the old continent. Escorrega has also ventured successfully into mixed martial arts (MMA) where he had an auspicious start with two wins in 2011.
Prof Marcos Barros is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 5th Degree Black Belt under Master Carlos Gracie Junior and owner of Gracie Barra Norman as well as the Regional Director for Illinois and South Korea. Prof Marcos regularly competed at the Master’s 1 level with many podium appearances at World’s and the Pan Am games.
Please join us on April 11th as we host these 2 Gracie Barra’s ambassadors for an adult and kids seminar. Our kids seminar will be from 10am – 11am, and adults will be 11am – 1pm. ADULT REGISTRATION (13 and up): $125 Before March 21st, $150 After March 21st
PARKING: Parking at our facility is limited. We are on the NW corner of 5 Mile Road and Haggerty. If parking is not available you may park in the Kroger parking lot on the NW corner of 5 Mile and Haggerty.
