Meet our experienced instructors who are committed to helping you succeed in Jiu-Jitsu.
Professor Fernando Amadeu is the founder of Gracie Barra Columbus. Born in 1989 in Brasília, Brazil, he moved to the United States in 2017. He eventually became the head instructor at Gracie Barra Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2024, he relocated to Dublin, Ohio, with his family to open the first Gracie Barra school in the state.
Professor Amadeu is dedicated to providing high-level Jiu-Jitsu instruction with experience and professionalism in a welcoming environment for the local community. He graduated with a degree in engineering from the University of Brasília before moving to the U.S. Additionally, he is a highly accomplished competitor. Here are his major achievements:

- 1st Place - 2023 Compnet New Mexico Absolute Black Belt
