Gracie Barra Kids

Introduce your child to Jiu-Jitsu and help them build confidence, discipline, respect, focus, physical ability, and essential self-defence skills - all in a safe and supportive environment. By practicing Jiu-Jitsu, children learn valuable skills they wouldn’t develop from other sports.

Empowering Kids Through Jiu-Jitsu

At Gracie Barra, Jiu-Jitsu is more than a martial art - it’s a path to confidence, resilience, and respect. Through structured training, kids learn focus, discipline, and how to overcome challenges.

In a safe, supportive environment, our certified instructors help students build strength, coordination, and essential life skills. Surrounded by a strong sense of team and belonging, they become part of a global family - growing on and off the mats.

By practising Jiu-Jitsu, children learn valuable skills they wouldn’t develop from other sports - like staying calm under pressure, using technique over strength, and solving problems with focus and confidence.

Reviews

  • After 10+ years in other martial arts, I finally gave Jiu-Jitsu a go at GB St Peters. It’s now my second home—amazing coaches, friendly training partners, and a welcoming community for the whole family, including my son and wife.
  • Gracie Barra St Peters can only be described as ONE BIG FAMILY! Coming from another gym, I was welcomed into the St Peters family with so much love and support. The Professors and Coaches have a true passion for the art of jiu jitsu and the knowledge across the students are endless. GB St Peters offers so many options in terms of morning/night classes from Gi and No Gi classes for mixed fundamentals and advanced and even Womens only classes 7 days a week! St Peters has a strong women's team which I simply love! Always great rolls, laughter and the occasional over eating at the end of every class with the team ♡♡♡
  • I had no prior combat sport experience, but GBSP was very welcoming and my first trial class was overwhelmingly positive. The culture is great, coaches are skilled mentors, and I improve every week with amazing training partners.
  • Incredible gym and community! Gracie Barra St Peter’s is an amazing place to train. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported by both the coaches and the students. The instruction is top-notch—clear, structured, and rooted in real Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, the classes are well-paced and challenging in the best way. The vibe is respectful, motivating, and truly aligned with the values of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I highly recommend it
