Looking for something a little different for your child’s next birthday? Host their party on the mats at Gracie Barra St Peters — a fun, active, unforgettable experience for kids of all ages and abilities.
Our birthday parties are run by our Gracie Barra certified coaches and packed with games, activities and age-appropriate Jiu-Jitsu — no experience needed. Just bring the birthday cake and get ready to have a great time!
What’s Included
Every birthday party package includes a full 2 hour private hire of our mat space, split into two parts:
- 1 hour 15 minutes of fun activities — Jiu-Jitsu games, safe grappling drills and age-appropriate martial arts activities led by our coaches
- 45 minutes of food time — sit down, eat, cut the cake and take photos
Also included:
- Private hire of the mat space for 2 hours
- Gracie Barra coaches running all games and activities (number of coaches based on group size)
- Dedicated time at the end for cake, food and photos
- Tailored activities to suit your child’s age group and group size
Pricing
- Members: $520 for up to 12 kids
- Non-members: $620 for up to 12 kids
- Extra kids: $20 per child
A $100 deposit is required to secure your date — this goes toward your total balance.
Optional Food Package
Want to skip the catering stress? We can organise food through Tony Eats — the food truck at Chuck and Son — so you don’t have to lift a finger.
Cost: $20 per child (minimum 12 kids)
Each child gets:
- Chips
- Pop top juice
- Ice cream
- One main of their choice: mini burger, nuggets, mac & cheese, or potato on a stick
Prefer to self-cater? No problem at all — you’re welcome to bring your own food, cake, decorations and anything else you’d like. We’re flexible!
When Can We Book?
Birthday parties run on weekends at the following times:
- Saturday: any start time after 1:30 PM
- Sunday: any start time after 1:30 PM

Frequently Asked Questions
Do the kids need any martial arts experience?
Not at all. Our coaches tailor every party to the group — whether it’s a room full of seasoned grapplers or kids who have never heard of Jiu-Jitsu. Everyone joins in, everyone has fun.
What should the kids wear?
Comfortable clothing they can move around in. No uniform or special equipment needed. If any kids already train BJJ and want to wear their gi, that’s totally fine too.
How many kids can attend?
The base package covers up to 12 kids. Additional children are welcome at $20 per child. If you have a particularly large group, just get in touch and we’ll work something out.
Can we bring our own food and decorations?
Absolutely. If you’d prefer to self-cater, you’re welcome to bring your own food, cake, decorations and anything else you’d like to set up during food time.
How do I secure a date?
Get in touch with your preferred date, approximate number of kids and whether you’d like the food package. Once we confirm availability, a $100 deposit locks in your booking. The deposit goes toward your final total.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please contact us directly to discuss any changes to your booking. We’ll always do our best to accommodate where we can.
Can non-members book a party?
Yes! Birthday parties are open to everyone — you don’t need to be a member of Gracie Barra St Peters. Non-member pricing applies.
