I am a Registered Nurse with a strong foundation in clinical care, teamwork and community service. Alongside my career in healthcare, I’ve always had a deep passion for Martial Arts, something that started when I was young and has continued to shape who I am today.
Over the years, I’ve trained in several disciplines that have each contributed to my growth as a Martial Artist:
• Taekwondo — my first introduction to discipline, structure and movement.
• Boxing — where I developed timing, footwork and striking fundamentals.
• Kickboxing — building power, conditioning and practical stand‑up skills.
• Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — my current primary focus, centred on technique, leverage and continuous learning.
My background in Nursing and Martial Arts complement each other. Nursing has taught me calmness under pressure, empathy and attention to detail, while Martial Arts has strengthened my resilience, discipline and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Together, they shape the way I train, teach and contribute to the community.

I am a Jiu‑Jitsu practitioner, a wife and a mother of three and these roles shape the way I train, teach and connect with the people around me. I completed my Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy at University of Western Sydney and my professional background has deeply influenced how I view movement, learning and participation in everyday life.
My goal as a Professor at Gracie Barra Blacktown City is to create an active, supportive learning community where students feel empowered to grow both on and off the mats. I believe Jiu‑Jitsu is more than a Martial Art—it is a meaningful form of occupational engagement that promotes health, well‑being, confidence and participation in life.
Through my teaching, I aim to:
Balancing family, work and being of service to others thru Jiu Jitsu has taught me resilience, patience and purpose. These values guide the way I teach and the way I help our students grow within the community.
