Leader Con 2026: Growing Together
Last Saturday, Gracie Barra school owners, instructors and team members from across Oceania came together in Sydney for the highly anticipated Gracie Barra Oceania Leader Con 2026.
Built around the Gracie Barra values of Brotherhood, Integrity and Development, Leader Con provided an opportunity for leaders from across the region to connect, learn and share ideas that will help shape the future of our schools and communities.
The event brought together representatives from established and emerging Gracie Barra schools, creating a unique environment where collaboration and shared experiences became powerful tools for growth. Throughout the afternoon, attendees participated in presentations, discussions and leadership sessions focused on strengthening student experiences, developing high-performing teams and creating lasting impact within their local communities.
A central message of this year's event was that everything is connected. The growth of every school, the development of every team member and the success of every student contributes to the strength of the entire Gracie Barra network. By working together and sharing knowledge, our community continues to honour its legacy while building an even stronger future.
Leader Con 2026 also highlighted the importance of leadership diversity and inclusion. Meaningful discussions explored how Gracie Barra can continue creating opportunities for more people to contribute, lead and thrive within our schools. These conversations reflected our ongoing commitment to fostering welcoming environments where everyone can experience the benefits of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and personal development.
