Professor Castro has always been there for me when I needed help accomplishing anything in Jiu Jitsu. He keeps an eye on me and all of his students during practice and corrects us with sound advice if there is something that we need to improve on. He is also sincere in his compliments and calls us out when we do something right. His countless years of experience in the art of Jiu Jitsu makes Professor Castro (in my eyes) a living legend and someone that I am proud to call my Sensei. Aside from our professor, the school has an amazing array of students from all ages, backgrounds and skill levels. Thanks to these individuals, my Jiu Jitsu skills have been elevated way beyond what I could have ever imagined. My overall health, balance, cardio vascular endurance and strength has improved and I just feel like a better person. If that’s not enough, being a member of the Gracie Barra team means that we can train at other GB gyms located all around the world. This is a great advantage for people like myself who sometimes have to travel for work. What more can I say? I’m proud to be a part of the Gracie Barra family.
