Edson Junior – Owner / Coach

A proud father of two amazing children. Coach Junior, as he is mostly known by, started his BJJ journey 12 years ago at Gracie Barra Vancouver. Due to some health reasons he was forced to take a long brake only returning to training 5 years ago. Since then, he has dedicated his time to training, competing and for the past 2 years, being more focused in coaching children. “seeing a kid learning and being excited about a new skill is what puts a smile on my face”. He is now one of the owners of GB Richmond alongside with his friend Bernardo.
