Professor Billy Wilder

Professor Billy began focusing strictly on jiu-jitsu in 2015.  He brought years of experience with him into jiu jitsu being a veteran and training in various forms of martial arts his entire life.  During his youth, Professor Billy trained karate, judo, taekwondo, kickboxing, aikido, boxing, and wrestling.  He was able to transition his previous experience successfully into jiu jitsu.

Professor Billy Wilder has competed in some of the highest level of Jiu-Jitsu organizations, where he went undefeated in competitions all the way to brown belt. His competitions resulted in two national championships.  He won his first national championship as a brown belt and 2021 and his second national championship in 2022.

Professor Billy was awarded his black belt in July of 2022 by Professor Marcos Barros, a Gracie Barra 5th degree black belt.

Professor Billy instructs the members of Gracie Barra in all skill sets. He helps with the introductory students all the way those preparing for high level competition.  Professor Billy is caring and helpful for each and every student that walks through the doors.  He is always seeking ways to improve his Jiu-Jitsu so that he can pass it along to help others when they have questions.
