Coach Steffen Smith

Coach Steffen began learning the art and skill of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Professor Marcos “Marcão” Barros in 2020 after joining Gracie Barra Springfield.

Having previous experience coaching and competing in strength endeavors, Coach Steffen not only found a new outlet for sharing knowledge, but also a new purpose to steer and influence the world and community in a positive way.

Coach Steffen embraces the GB1 classes, which focuses on the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu, be it self-defense techniques, and sport Jiu Jitsu.

GB1 is every adult students introduction to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as well as Gracie Barra. Coach Steffen is thrilled to welcome you to our school, the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu and the community of Gracie Barra.
