Valerio Mori Ubaldini comes to Gracie Barra from Italy. He began Jiu Jitsu in 2008, and after one month of training, he won his first competition at fourteen years old in the adult division. He achieved his black belt in only 7 years of training, during which time he trained with Professor Victor Estima in Nottingham and Professor Jefferson Moura in Brazil in the very first Gracie Barra school founded in 1986.

Competition Accomplishments include:

• 2x FILA Grappling World Champion – Gi and NoGi
• 2x WTKA World Champion
• 4x Italian National Champion – Gi and NoGi
• IBJJF European Champion
• Canary Island, Spain Champion
• IBJJF Open Champion
• Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Professional Cup Champion
• Brazilian National Championship Champion (he is the only Italian to ever do so)

Professor Valerio is excited to be an integral part of the Gracie Barra team in Kansas, and he looks forward to helping others on their Jiu Jitsu journey.
