Representing the Red Shield.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n The GB Oceania Ambassador Program<\/strong> was created to develop high-level competitors while strengthening a united and values-driven competition culture across our region.<\/p>\n This is more than sponsorship. It is a commitment to leadership, performance, and representation.<\/p>\n Our Ambassadors represent the Red Shield with pride \u2014 not only through results on the podium, but through discipline in training, respect within the school, and contribution to the community.<\/p>\n The program provides structured support to selected Kids and Adult Gi competitors competing at major local and international events.<\/p>\n Ambassadors are chosen through the GB Oceania Internal Rankings, recognising athletes who demonstrate:<\/p>\n We believe that true representation goes beyond medals. It reflects how an athlete trains, supports teammates, and upholds the standards of our organisation.<\/p>\n At the Gracie Barra Oceania Ambassador Program, we are committed to building competitors who lead by example and contribute to something greater than themselves.<\/p>\n Performance builds champions. Character wins trust.<\/p>\n And both represent the Red Shield.<\/p>\n Adults & Juveniles \u2013 3 Positions<\/strong><\/p>\n Kids \u2013 3 Positions<\/strong><\/p>\n Note<\/strong>: Juveniles competing in the Adult Male & Juvenile Blue Belt division are eligible for the Adult category, as they can compete in open-weight divisions. To maintain fairness, they will not be included in the Kids division.<\/p>\n The organisers of the GB Oceania Ambassador Program<\/strong> oversee the allocation of funds. The program is designed to be adaptable, allowing adjustments as needed to maintain long-term sustainability.<\/p>\n By participating in and supporting this initiative, the GB community helps provide competitors with the resources needed to compete, grow, and represent Gracie Barra at the highest level.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n To qualify for the program, competitors must meet the following criteria for Kids & Adults:<\/p>\n Accumulate at least 300 points<\/strong> in the Gi GB Oceania Internal Rankings<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Compete in a minimum of 6 recognised competitions<\/strong> throughout the year<\/p>\n All competitions run by AFBJJ, AJP, IBJJF or CompNet are recognised<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n Attend at least 3 Competition Training sessions<\/strong> at GB Headquarters \u2013 Sydney<\/p>\n Does not apply to competitors whose GB School is not within 180km of GB Headquarters – Sydney (according to Google Maps)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Does not apply for kids<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n \ud83d\udc49 View training dates & register via Humanitix<\/a><\/p>\n Ambassadors may<\/strong> receive a range of support benefits depending on available funding and eligibility, including:<\/p>\n Exclusive GB Wear Australia packages and discounts<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Gi Competition Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Travel and accommodation support<\/strong> for key competitions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Feature opportunities<\/strong> on GB Oceania’s social media and website<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Your participation helps fund our Ambassadors.
