Professor Eduardo Captein

Born and raised in Brazil in the state of Minas Gerias in a city called Sabara. Prof. Eduardo got his B.S. in Information Systems.

As an adult, Prof. Eduardo started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and eventually received his First Degree Black Belt from Fabiano “Magrelo” Paranhos and Grand Master Hilton Leao. Prof. Eduardo’s discipline and training combined with a competitive spirit has awarded him several National and International recognitions. His love of teaching both children and adults are reflected in his innovative and engaging approach bringing current and interactive dynamics to a traditional sport.

In his personal life, he is married to Gabriela who also trains in BJJ and hold a Purple Belt status. Together, they’re parents to a beautiful baby girl, Cecilia.
