Professor Philipe Della Monica, Head Instructor of Gracie Barra Headquarters, was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Achieving the rank of Gracie Barra black belt in 2005, he has established himself as a world-class competitor and multiple-time Jiu-Jitsu champion. With over 25 years of experience, Professor Philipe excels as a teacher of Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense, imparting his knowledge to children, adults, high-level athletes, law enforcement officers, and UFC fighters and champions including Rafael dos Anjos, TJ Dillashaw, Mauricio Shogun Rua, Cub Swanson, and many others. Known for his charisma and natural teaching talents, Professor Philipe serves as an exemplary role model and mentor to all his students, embodying the essence of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
