Coach Mike was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Texas in the late 80s and has called Texas home for over 30 years. Mike started his martial arts journey over 7 years ago in Krav Maga and added Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to his training regimen. Quickly Mike fell in love BJJ and the Gracie Barra family and it became his full-time training. Mike trains under the BJJ legends, Marcelo ‘Uirapuru” Azevedo and Vinicius “Draculino” Magalhaes
Over the past 5 years Mike has found competition success and owes it to his Professor and the Gracie Barra method.
