Professor jason fenton
BJJ Rank: Black Belt
I was born in Washington D.C. and spent my formative years in Northern Virginia. Upon completion of college, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where I served for over twenty-six years, retiring as a senior officer. After participating in multiple martial art disciplines, I found Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and was hooked.
In 2013, I began training under Professor Flavio Almeida at Gracie Barra San Clemente. I have trained in different schools and affiliations, with stops in Beaufort, South Carolina, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Virginia. Collectively, my training provided me with a varied and unique look on BJJ. In January 2024, I was promoted to Black Belt by Professor Charles Gomes of Gracie Barra Leesburg and Gracie Barra Ashburn.
Although I have competed at many local and National competitions, reaching the podium in many, I particularly enjoy teaching, and my goal is to infuse others with joy through jiu-jitsu.
