The CompNet European Championship Experience 2026: More Than a Competition<\/h1>\r\nAt Gracie Barra, we believe that Jiu Jitsu is more than just a martial art. It is a lifestyle, a community and a journey of constant self improvement.\r\n\r\nOne of the most powerful ways to grow, both on and off the mats, is by taking part in CompNet. This year, the experience is set to be bigger than ever.\r\n\r\nOn 31 October and 1 November 2026<\/strong>, the Gracie Barra community from across Europe will come together in Lisbon for The CompNet European Championship Experience<\/strong>.\r\n\r\nMore than just a competition, this will be a full weekend dedicated to learning, connecting, sharing and celebrating everything that makes our community unique.\r\n

What is CompNet?<\/h2>\r\nCompNet, short for the Gracie Barra Competition Network, was created to provide GB students with a safe, well organised and supportive environment to test their skills.\r\n\r\nBut CompNet is about much more than medals and results. It is an opportunity to step outside your comfort zone, challenge yourself and discover what you are capable of, while connecting with the wider Gracie Barra family.\r\n\r\nWhat makes CompNet truly unique is that it is exclusively for Gracie Barra students. Every competitor shares the same values, training methods and spirit of mutual respect. This creates an environment that is competitive, collaborative and supportive.\r\n\r\nMaster Carlos Gracie Jr. perfectly summed up the vision behind CompNet:\r\n
\u201cThe idea is to have a competition that provides the same kind of environment and culture that we have inside our schools. Save the Date: 31 October and 1 November 2026 in Lisbon<\/h2>\r\nThis year\u2019s European event is set to be truly unforgettable.\r\n\r\nTaking place across the weekend of 31 October and 1 November 2026 in Lisbon<\/strong>, The CompNet European Championship Experience<\/strong> will bring together Gracie Barra students, professors, school owners and Black Belts from across Europe.\r\n\r\nThe weekend will combine education, connection and competition, creating an opportunity for the entire GB community to come together and share the experience.\r\n

What makes this event different?<\/h3>\r\nThe CompNet European Championship Experience will feature three key moments throughout the weekend:\r\n\r\nSeminar with Victor Estima | 31 October<\/strong>\r\n\r\nAll registered Adult and Juvenile competitors will have the opportunity to take part in a seminar with Victor Estima<\/strong>, CompNet Europe Director and one of Gracie Barra\u2019s leading figures.\r\n\r\nSeminar and Gathering for School Owners and Black Belts | 31 October<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe weekend will also provide a dedicated opportunity for School Owners and Black Belts to learn, connect and spend time together as part of the wider Gracie Barra community.\r\n\r\nCompNet European Championship | 1 November<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe weekend will culminate in the CompNet European Championship, bringing together athletes from Gracie Barra schools across Europe for a day of high level Jiu Jitsu competition in true GB style.\r\n\r\nTogether, these elements make this much more than a tournament. Who Can Compete?<\/h2>\r\nThe CompNet European Championship is open to Gracie Barra students across different age groups and experience levels, from Little Champions and Teens to Adults and Masters.\r\n\r\nWhether you are stepping onto the competition mats for the first time or you are an experienced competitor, there is an opportunity to challenge yourself and be part of the experience.\r\n\r\nTo take part, you will need to:\r\n
