With over 20 years of experience, Professor Frisco has enjoyed a successful career in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and mixed martial arts. His training as a wrestler and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner began when he was ten years old. Since that time, he has fluctuated between competing in wrestling, grappling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu year-round, including participation in Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) and International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) events. After receiving a wrestling scholarship, he focused purely on wrestling throughout his college years. He has compiled an amateur MMA record of 3-2, with all wins by submission. Professor Frisco holds a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science. He now teaches, trains, and competes full time as a First Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with Gracie Barra El Paso and Gracie Barra East El Paso.
